Kalamazoo, MI- The Wings Stadium Events Center’s Friday night public skate will have a
different feel to it this Friday, November 15th.
DJ J-Zal, who is a local DJ that works in various night clubs in
Kalamazoo, will be providing the sounds for people on the ice for the public
skate that will be in The Annex from 8:30-10:30 pm.
Admission for the skate is $6, while skate rental (if needed) is $3.
Greenleaf Hospitality Group owns
the Wings Stadium Event Center, the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team and Wings West.
The Wings Stadium Event Center is comprised of three buildings; Wings Stadium
seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 6,000 people
for concerts and other stage events. The Annex seats 1,367 for ice events and
can hold up to 2,850 for non-ice events such as car, boat, and trade shows. The
Cube plays host to both ice and non-ice events. Wings West is comprised of two
ice sheets plus Old Burdick’s Restaurant at Wings West. The NHL Rink can
accommodate more than 1,200 fans hockey and other ice events. The Olympic Rink
plays host to both ice and non-ice events. Both facilities are available for
rental and feature numerous catering and meeting opportunities.
