This synchronized skating competition began in 2000 with 11 teams. The competition now hosts more than 130 teams (more than 1700 skaters) from throughout the Midwest and sometimes even Canada. Competitors from beginners to senior levels, youth to adults, participate in the event. Additional features of this competition include team critiques and a judges’ school.

The Greatest Kalamazoo Skating Association along with Title Sponsors - Greenleaf Hospitality, Wings Event Center, Wings West, Burdick's Restaurants, and the Radisson Plaza Hotel is honored to invite you to experience this incredible event. The Annual Competition now hosts more than 130 teams (~1600 skaters) from throughout the Midwest and Canada and has the distinction of being one of the first in the synchronized skating seasons, "kicking it off" each November. Competitors from beginning to the international levels participate in the event.
Admission: Teams will receive competitor ribbons for all skaters and alternates. Team Managers and Team Service Personnel (one each per team) must meet all compliance requirements for the current season and be listed in the team portal for the competition. Team Managers and Service Personnel will be asked to pick up their own credentials by presenting a photo ID. These credentials are only to be used by the individual who originally picked them up and may not be share. Anyone found using a credential, not on the approved compliance list, will have their credential privileges revoked for the duration of the competition and the violation will be brought to the attention of the U.S. Figure Skating and the Ethics committee. For the General Public, there will be an admission fee* at the door of $10 for ages 6+, $9 for seniors (62 and over), per ticket, per competition. There is no charge for children 5 and under or active military with proper ID.
