Pickleball Fever in the Zoo 2017

Date: July 20 - July 23, 2017

The Kalamazoo Pickleball Club is hosting its fourth annual Pickleball Fever in the Zoo - Bob Northrop Memorial Tournament. This year we are also the Great Lakes Regional Tournament. The tournament will take place in the Valley and the Zoo at Wings Event Center from July 20-23. Visit Kalamazoo Pickleball's Facebook Page for more information.


  • Thursday, July 20th — Men’s and Women’s 60+ Doubles play begins around 11:00 a.m/ At 6:00 p.m. we will have a fun 2-Person Skills Challenge competition.
  • Women's Doubles will be held on Friday, July 21st, along with Men’s Singles beginning at 8:00 a.m.
  • Mixed Doubles will be held on Saturday, July 22nd, beginning at 7:00 a.m. Also on Saturday we will hold a Pizza Party, free to registered participants.
  • Men’s Doubles and Women’s Singles will be held on Sunday, July 23rd, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
  • Great raffle prizes daily. You don’t have to be a participant to win.
  • Onix Pure 2 Yellow Indoor Ball will be our tournament ball.

Spectators are welcome free of charge. Snack bar and beverage service available.

What is Pickleball?

A paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Come out, watch some of the top players in the country, and learn all about the “Fastest Growing Sport in the Country!”
